Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan

President Ram Nath Kovid inaugurated the annual Udyanostav of the Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan.The Mughal Gardens will remain open for public from 6 February to 9th of March between 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM.


New National Education Policy panel to submit report by 31 March

The existing National Education Policy was framed in 1986 and revised in 1992. Headed by former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K Kasturirangan, the panel was set up in June last year.


All women INSV Tarini heads to Cape Town

Indian Traini Naval Sailing Vessel Traini left Port Stanley on 4 February for its onward journey to Cape Town. The next port halt is scheduled at Cape Town South Africa on 8 March this year.


Financial Commissioner Railways

Shri A.K.Prasad has been appointed as new Financial Commissioner (Railways), Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to Government of India vice Shri B.N.Mohapatra, who superannuated on 31st January 2018.

Maldives govt declares state of emergency for 15 days

Maldives government has declared a state of emergency for 15 days in wake of the ongoing crisis with Supreme court.

The declaration came this evening after Maldives President Abdullah Yameen expressed his government inability to implement the Supreme court ruling of Thursday which ordered for a release of nine opposition leaders.


 1st ever meeting of provincial assemblies in Nepal concludes

The first-ever meeting of provincial assemblies in Nepal has been concluded. The maiden historic meeting of the state assembly in province 1 and 4 were held today. The newly elected members attended meeting at their respective temporary provincial headquarters.
